I have used Dr. Shuster for dentistry, chiropractic and acupuncture and I would highly recommend her services to anyone seeking the best care for their horses.  She is always extremely thorough in her evaluations and does not hesitate to consult with my farrier, trainer or veterinarian.  Additionally, she is very generous with her time and is willing to answer all of my questions as well as educating me how to identify and prevent potential issues.  My horse always performs better after she has worked on him.  My horse and I are fortunate to have found her!

My endurance horse was consistently pulling her right front shoe off during training every 5th week like clockwork.  After nearly a year of this, my farrier and I both came to the same conclusion: have her evaluated by a chiropractor.  I respect homeopathy, acupuncture and chiropractic remedies, so was delighted to find Dr. Shuster with her extensive credentials.  Since the very first treatment, over a year ago, we have not pulled that shoe and are nearly at 7-week intervals (we were at 5-week intervals) with the farrier.  We now maintain several times a year with chiropractic and acupuncture and my endurance horse loves every minute of it.

Dr. Rachael Shuster is a veterinarian who truly cares.  She was instrumental in helping me with a horse that was in pain and dangerous to ride.  She spent many hours researching and doing consults with other vets in an effort to help.  I really appreciated her willingness to look elsewhere to find answers.  The chiropractic and acupuncture treatments helped him tremendously.  I will always thank Dr. Shuster for her care and concern and her strong desire to help.  She now helps me keep my new youngster in good health and fitness.

Being part of a sport where balance, harmony, and having a horse feel calm and comfortable at all times is essential, I have found Rachael to be a godsend.  My horse was competing in the 2010 World Equestrian Games in the sport of equestrian vaulting, carrying an international competitor.  He was having pain issues with his neck and back and there was nothing the vet I had been using could do for him, other than medicate him.  I called Rachael hoping there was something she could do for my horse. Through a combination of chiropractor care and acupuncture, Rachael was able to make my horse feel spectacular, erase all his pain issues, and we successfully competed in the games.  Since then, Rachael has saved our horses from having to withdraw from at least two competitions because of unexpected pain or injuries.  She is absolutely amazing in diagnosing, explaining, and treating pain.  We have called her with last minute emergencies thinking there was no way our horses could compete, and yet each time she worked on those horses, they have walked on the trailer sound and had excellent competitions.  Rachael has the tools and the knowhow to make your horse feel better.  She is great to work with, communicative, reliable and an asset for any horse owner that needs excellent care for his or her horse. 

Dr. Shuster isn't just a great vet, she is a great listener and really takes the time to answer any questions and explain everything she's doing.  She treats my animals the way I would treat them myself.  She also remembers to take into account the fact that you, the owner, probably know the horse better than anyone.

Dr. Shuster has been tending my horse's chiropractic and acupuncture needs for several years now.  Over the course of my horse's lengthy and varied careers, in the show jumping arena as well as the FEI level dressage, he has never responded to chiropractic and acupuncture treatment as well as he does with Dr. Shuster.  The way my horse feels after treatment is amazing.  It's magical!  I have found it an imperative part of my horse's performance management.

I own a 17 yr old draft cross, retired fox hunter with soundness issues.  I am constantly amazed at the many benefits of the chiropractic and acupuncture treatments he receives from Dr. Shuster. She is incredible at both listening to me and working with my horse, and he absolutely adores her! It is lovely to watch him get immediate relief as she works. When he was diagnosed with ringbone a couple months ago, I contacted Dr. Shuster and she went above and beyond to help us. My horse and I are very grateful for her!
